Liz Preslar works as a registered nurse, specializing in surgery and operating room nursing.  She loves the variety and excitement this environment presents, and always has a story to tell.  Liz received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Idaho State University in 2008, and worked her way through school as a resident assistant and building manager for ISU housing.  She also served her fellow students as an ASISU Senator for the College of Health Professions, ISU Ambassador, and as President of the Institute of Religion Council.

Liz loves to travel, and after spending three years working at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, signed on as a ‘travel nurse’ with Titan Medical.  Liz has also travelled with a service group to Bay Saint Louis, Missouri to build homes for victims of Hurricane Katrina, and to Puerto Rico for rain forest conservation projects.

Liz hails from the small town of Preston, Idaho and believes variety is the spice of life.  She is a published poet and intends to pursue writing in the form of medical essays, and a fictional novel.  Liz enjoys playing volleyball, competing in triathlons, being outdoors, and working & playing on the family farm.  Liz and her husband Matt currently live in Idaho Falls with their bunny, Penny.
