Liz Visits Preston Rotary Club

Liz is sponsored by the Preston Rotary Club of Preston, Idaho and had the pleasure of attending a meeting with the group on February 7th.  Liz was able to introduce herself, make new Rotarian friends, listen to a guest speaker, and enjoy a Mexican lunch. (muy delicioso!) The Preston Rotary club currently has 30 members and meets each Tuesday at 12:00pm in the Mis Amores restaurant on Main Street.

  1. More about Preston Rotary Club service projects: They provide dictionaries for all 3rd graders in the county, they donate to the Special Needs Olympics, Franklin County Fair, Angel Tree, Elks Christmas baskets, Miss Franklin County, Idaho Make-A-Wish foundation, Preston and West Side High School Scholarships, and Senior Citizen’s Center. They have adopted a section of highway for cleanup. They help with Preston’s Annual Festival of Lights. They sponsor the annual July 24th firework celebration. As far as international service, Preston is working on a water project out of Nigeria.
